Assessments

Agile Assessments

ISPI's Workshop Assessment Method may be used to evaluate your organization's application of Agile, DevOps, and Lean principles.  The focus of our approach is implementing business value, and how well an organization is poised to do that with its current practices.

SCAMPI* A

* SCAMPI is a service mark of the CMMI Institute

The Standard CMM Appraisal Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPI [SM]) is the official method required by the CMMI® Institute for an organization to register a maturity rating.  This is critical for organizations which are required to demonstrate a CMMI® Maturity Level in order to bid on contracts.  ISPI has a long track record of helping organizations survive - and thrive - through the SCAMPI process.

ISPI CMMI Workshop Assessment

ISPI has been offering this low-intrusion, low-cost, high-yield assessment for over 20 years. We have demonstrated that this approach provides over 80% accuracy compared to a formal appraisal, but takes much less time and has low overhead costs.  This is an ideal first step to assess where your organization is as it starts out its process improvement journey.

This workshop may be tailored to address multiple methodology or compliance concerns.

Introduction to Agile and Lean

This two-day course is designed to provide insights into how to adopt agile and lean thinking and foundational knowledge of key agile methods such as Scrum and XP.  It also will provid basic insights into Kanban and DevOps, and discuss how these various approaches overlap or involve tradeoffs.

Have you worked very hard to comply with Model X, only to be told you have to also comply with Standards Y and Z?  This workshop is based on many such situations, and has been the source of collective sighs of relief many times over!  As always, our workshop aims to support compliance requirements while retaining as much Lean and Agile focus as possible.

The Basic workshop helps organizations just starting out on their compliance efforts, planning their process evolution and avoiding common pitfalls.

The Advanced workshop is for organizations already having a significant investment in their process definitions that are seeking the most effective way to respond to additional compliance requirements.
